Peace for Anxious Minds: A 30-Day Bible Reading Plan for Anxiety
One short passage, one focus and one honest prayer a day. About 10 minutes. Start today, wherever you are.
The two verses this plan is built on
Isaiah 41:10 was the most-read verse in the YouVersion Bible App in 2025. Philippians 4:6-7 held that spot in 2024. Fear and worry are the two things people keep bringing to God, so we start and finish the plan here.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
How to use this plan
- Read slowly. Each passage takes about 5 minutes. Read it twice if you can: once to understand, once to listen.
- Hold one line. Notice the focus for the day and write down one phrase you want to carry with you.
- Pray it back. Pray the one-sentence prayer, then add your own words. Honest is better than polished.
- Check it off. Use the tracker on page 3 of the PDF. If you miss a day, pick up where you left off. This is grace, not a test.

A gentle note
A reading plan is not a replacement for care. If anxiety is making daily life hard, please talk with your doctor, a licensed counselor or a pastor as well. Reading Scripture and getting help go together.
If you are in crisis or thinking about ending your life, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or contact local emergency services now. You are not a burden, and you do not have to carry this alone.
