Something us humans are good at – is failing. We all fail. It’s inevitable. However, what separates people from the rest is how we respond to failure. We can either let failure consume us, or we can let failure fuel us. Biblical leaders failed. They are known as Biblical leaders because they learned from their mistakes. They let their failures fuel them. Prepare to fail. When you do, get up and try again. Sometimes we need a little motivation to get back up. This is where God comes in and His word.
Here are Bible Verses for when you are worried about failure
“‘When people fall down, do they not get up?
When someone turns away, do they not return?
Why then have these people turned away?
Why does Jerusalem always turn away?
They cling to deceit;
they refuse to return.
I have listened attentively,
but they do not say what is right.
None of them repent of their wickedness,
saying, “What have I done?”
Each pursues their own course
like a horse charging into battle.
Even the stork in the sky
knows her appointed seasons,
and the dove, the swift and the thrush
observe the time of their migration.
But my people do not know
the requirements of the Lord.
“for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,
but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”
“When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down,
but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.”
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.”
